Cell Culture Inserts+Plates Configuration, PET Membrane

Name: Cell Culture Inserts, TC Treated, PC/PET Memberane
Availability: InStock

Price range: 56,03 € through 79,74 €

Cell culture inserts are widely used in cell experiments, such as co-culture, chemotaxis, cell migration, invasion, and drug transport studies. The permeable support can effectively improve the culture of polarized cells, as it allows secretion and absorption of molecules from both the basal and apical surfaces, thereby supporting metabolism in a more natural manner. This enables the cultivation of certain specialized cell lines while closely mimicking the in vivo environment.

Product Details

PC membrane inserts are ideal for tumor cell migration and invasion studies, hematostaxis or endothelial cell migration assays and co-culture applications.
Create a cell culture environment that closely mimics in vivo conditions.
Inserts allow polarized cells to perform metabolic functions more naturally by allowing nutrient uptake from both the apical and basolateral sides
Grow cells in co-culture systems either with direct cell-to-cell interaction or separated without physical contact
Treated to promote maximum cell adhesion
Membrane requires staining to be visible
The membrane features a low adsorption rate, minimizing the loss of small molecular proteins and other compounds
PC is compatible with common solvents used for fixation and staining

Cell and tissue culture technologies are increasingly essential in both basic research and applied life sciences. To better replicate in vivo conditions, advanced culture vessels and specialized surface treatments for cell adhesion are continually being developed, particularly for the growth of sensitive or specialized cell lines.
Among these innovations, permeable supports with microporous membranes have become a key tool. By allowing molecular exchange at both the apical and basal surfaces, they promote the growth of polarized cells and support secretion and absorption in a way that closely mirrors natural metabolic processes. This creates a more physiologically relevant environment, making permeable supports an effective solution for cultivating complex cell types.
