Note: If the faucet needs to be autoclaved, please remove the large bottle from the spout and sterilize it separately, and then install it after sterilization; the recommended sterilization condition is 121℃ for 15mins.
When using the faucet, please avoid over-turning the faucet, the switch is usually angled at 60° to allow for fully closed to fully open.

Product Deescription

The barrel, the tap and the screw cap of the carboy are made from polypropylene (PP) and the gasket is made from thermoplastic elastomer(TPE), all of which are autoclavable for sterilization before use to prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms. It is mainly used for storing and dispensing solutions, culture medium, also ideal for sterile water. The barrel is moulded with a 1-gallon or 5 liter scale markings for easy identification of liquid levels during operation. The sealing performance is secured by the TPE gasket and the thread on the finish, which is well matched to the cap.
The NEST 83B three-port cap is designed for carboy closed systems and is autoclavable (tubing not recommended during sterilization). It is compatible with containers using 83B caps. The cap features three ports for connecting air filters, inlet/outlet tubing, and other fluid transfer accessories.
