Box features
Cryogenic box identifier code: We have a unique QR code at the bottom of the rack and a one-dimensional barcode laser engraved on the side of the rack. When reading the cryogenic tube information, the box information is also read automatically.
Box lid buckle: The cryogenic box is designed with a buckle which can be tighyly fitted with the box to prevent scattering when dropped. The buckle switch is also convenient,even if frozen in liquid nitrogen will not fail to ensure sample safety

The vial racks match the familiar 8×12, 96-well layout used for microplates, PCR plates, and pipette tip racks, ensuring compatibility with automated systems such as robotic liquid handlers for high-throughput workflows. The caps are also designed for use with Azenta capper/de-capper machines.
Each vial is equipped with permanent, laser-etched barcodes for reliable sample identification and automated tracking. A 2D DataMatrix code is etched into the bottom, and a 1D barcode is etched into the side—Nest refers to this combination as a “3D label.” The “3D” designation also reflects the fact that the codes are physically engraved into the vial surface, making them impervious to solvents and resistant to wear from mechanical friction.

Notes:
- After removing cryogenic vials from liquid nitrogen, use the NEST thawing device to ensure better QR code recognition.
- Due to varying densities of freezing media, it is recommended that the filling volume not exceed 90%.
- Make sure the cap is tightly closed before freezing to prevent liquid nitrogen from entering.
- Always wear proper protective equipment when handling vials from liquid nitrogen to ensure laboratory safety.
Storage conditions: Temperature range: –196 °C (with screw cap) to 121 °C.
All polypropylene tubes are suitable for low-temperature storage, except direct immersion in liquid nitrogen.
Warning: Do not immerse NEST sample tubes directly in liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen can seep inside and cause tube rupture and sample loss. Storage in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen is recommended.
All polypropylene tubes are suitable for low-temperature storage, except direct immersion in liquid nitrogen.
Warning: Do not immerse NEST sample tubes directly in liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen can seep inside and cause tube rupture and sample loss. Storage in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen is recommended.
